"healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it" -unknown In order to give you all an accurate and concise review, I have been personally taking black seed oil for about 5 months now. Trust me, I was skeptical too at first. Let's dive in... Where do I even start... Wow! This universal, holistic treatment is a must have in every household. It was found by archeologists to be one of the many things King Tut had in his tomb. It has been used for centuries to treat countless illnesses both internally and externally. It is also referenced in many religious practices. In Arabic cultures, black cumin is known as Habbatul barakah, meaning the "seed of blessing." It is also believed that the Islamic prophet Mohammed said that it is "a remedy for all diseases except death." Black seed oil is extracted from the seed of Nigella sativa, commonly called black "cumin" seeds, though they are not in the cumin species. One of the major and most vital components of black seed oil is thymoquinone. Thymoquinone is dubbed by scholars as the most potent antioxidant. Among the many amazing discoveries researchers have found, Black Seed Oil is said to be superior to almost every other natural remedy when used for autoimmune disorders or conditions in which the patients' systems attack their bodies causing them to suffer. There have been hundreds of published scholarly journals about the benefits of black seed oil dating back to 1964. Additionally, many Doctors and holistic healers vouch for black seed oil today. It is said to be effective against 97 strains of bacteria, most of which are resistant to a number of antibiotics. There is a host of proven benefits in using black seed oil. The overarching theme though is that it is a SUPERB immunity booster and it removes mucus from the body. According to Dr. Sebi, Increased mucus throughout our bodies is the root cause of many known illnesses. Mucus clogs the lymphatic system, which slows down your body's ability to flush toxins.. but that's another topic for another blog post (read more here.) A few uses for black seed oil:
How To Use: According to experts, ALL you need is one teaspoon of black seed oil taken twice a day to prevent more serious illnesses (Alzheimer's, Cancer, Heart/Lung Disease, etc) or once a day, preferably before bed, for general maintenance. No more, no less. For twice a day, you can take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, then again at night. After taking the black seed oil, in liquid form, be sure NOT to drink anything following it. If you want, eat a dollop of honey off of the tip of your finger to cut the "spicy/bitter" taste. In this case, the oil will not be disturbed by any other liquid on its way down. If you are taking the capsule form, please do wash it down with water. Store your oil in a cool, dark place (I place mine in the fridge) to extend its shelf life. Black seed oil is slightly spicy/bitter to taste but it's not too terrible on the taste buds. Below is an image of the brand I use, it can be taken both in capsule and liquid form. If you choose to take it in capsule form, one capsule morning and night will suffice. Black seed oil is 100% safe to use on all ages and has a shelf life of about 2 years when stored correctly. *You will experience a period where your body is detoxing and removing mucus. This is completely normal. :) * The specific brand I used can be found here. 500mg capsule form found here. **I personally have not tried any other brand** Success Stories

Yes, I’m a believer and lover of BSO. I had a specific reason for starting it, I was skeptical at first but all of the reviews and YouTube journey videos I watched helped me make my decision. It worked. I use the same brand. I even drove almost 2 hours away to get some because the place where I currently live didn’t have any. I got my first bottle from the store in L5 and it was the small bottle, like a little trial size. That lasted me about 2 months. I know use the larger bottle. I don’t take it as often as I used to but I’m going to definitely start back!
