Materials: Airfryer, frying pan, cutting board, knife, large serving spoon, measuring utensils
Wontons aren't only for soups!
Let me show you how I created this yummy air fried wonton meal.
1. Cut unfrozen chik'n strips into small chunks and set to the side.
3. Season your Chik'n with the dry seasonings listed above and set aside.
4. Pour some grapeseed oil into the frying pan.
5. Dice scallions, bell peppers, and garlic then place them into the frying pan. Sauté until they are golden brown.
6. Add your chik'n to the frying pan and cook as normal. Stir occasionally. This will be the basis of your wonton stuffing.
7. Once your chik'n appears cooked, remove the pot from the heat.
At this point, we prepare all the wontons first then air fry them.
1. Place about 4 wonton squares on your cutting board
2. Use a teaspoon to place a small amount of your chik'n filling in the middle of the wonton.
3. Grab a fork and a cup of plain water.
4. Use the fork (dipped in the cup of water) to wet/score ONLY the 4 edges of the wonton paper.
5. Use both hands to grip the edges of the wonton and gently squeeze them together. (The perfect "wonton shape" may take a few tries. BE GENTLE.
Now that you have your wontons prepared, let's sizzleeee...
TURN ON THE AIRFRYER.
1. Place wontons (about 4-5 at a time) in the fryer.
2. Air fry for approximately 10 minutes or until golden brown.
